
The Scholarships Fellowships initially provide 24 months of funding. The fellowships may be further extended, depending on the progress of the projects, with the possibility of a regular employment thereafter. Furthermore, depending on the candidate’s background, the positions provide the opportunity to graduate.
Responsibilities
Scholarships Fellowships Assistance in the scientific coordination and knowledge management of EU-projects is a challenging assignment with a wide range of responsibilities, thus providing the formidable opportunity for a dynamic scientist to broaden his or her horizon, covering all administrative and scientific aspects associated with such projects. Duties include:
- Interfacing between researchers, project management, and the project coordinator
- Preparation of documents, slides, reports, publications, and yearly plans including deliverables and milestones
- Co-organisation of meetings and provision of follow-ups
- Participation in meetings, preparation of presentations, and presentation of results
- Support of researchers in their work
- Communication
Requirements
- Highly self-motivated, dedicated, ambitious and knowledgeable individual
- Scientific background in stem cell biology, “-omics” technologies, and toxicology
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- First experience with scientific management and competence in project management preferred
- Fluent in English
- Very good computer skills, particularly MS Office
